Eric Kandell is a builder at heart — someone who sees opportunity where others see complexity.
He began his career in the mortgage industry in 2001 as a loan officer assistant and worked his way up through sales leadership, branch management, and ownership. Over more than two decades, he helped scale organizations that collectively employed over 1,000 professionals and founded LVR, a direct-to-consumer mortgage lender focused on operational clarity and disciplined growth.
But Eric has never been wired to stay in one lane.
Eric's entrepreneurial reach extends well beyond mortgage banking. He has built and invested across memory care and skilled nursing, mobile home parks, self-storage, luxury vacation homes, private aviation, tax and Medicare services, pharmacy operations, and biotech startups. He gravitates toward essential industries — housing, healthcare, infrastructure — where strong systems and strong leadership create lasting value.
Earlier in life, Eric spent two years in Chile doing humanitarian work, an experience that shaped his worldview and left him fluent in Spanish.
Eric's most important title isn't founder or partner — it's dad. He's a devoted family man who believes success is hollow if it doesn't come home with you. He's also a self-proclaimed chef who loves experimenting in the kitchen, a world traveler, a wakeboarder, and someone who treats health and performance like a long-term investment.
Everyone who knows Eric would agree that he strives to build things that last. Whether they are businesses, partnerships, or a life designed with intention.
